Nitro RC car/truck racing is one of the fastest growing segments of the radio controlled industry.

There are many high quality RTR (ready to run) versions of the premium kits that make RC racing available to almost everyone. Prices start at about $300-$350. Generally all you need in addition is fuel, batteries for your radio and receiver pack and a  fuel bottle.  Some of the top manufacturers are Ofna, Associated, Losi, Kyosho, Mugen, HPI and many more.

Even though the kit versions of most cars/trucks allow you to become familiar with the car as you assemble it, they also offer higher quality parts and materials. The RTR versions can be just as much fun for the novice and the difference in performance is only realized as you become a better driver.
